Road

Travelling north from the Perth direction on the A9, at Inverness turn left at the Longman roundabout and initially follow the signs for Fort William over 3 roundabouts. After crossing the River Ness, turn right at the Telford Street roundabout and follow the signs for Beauly on the A862.  Leaving Inverness, the road takes you westwards along the south shore of the Beauly Firth.  Keep on this road for 10 miles until you cross the Lovat Bridge over the River Beauly; almost immediately take the A831 for Cannich and Struy, continue for about 9 miles and take the first right turn after the Cnoc Hotel, signposted to Glen Strathfarrar just before a hump-backed bridge over the River Farrar.  After half a mile, stop at the locked gate and ask at the gatehouse for access to Culligran Cottages which are a further half mile on the right.

Rail
Inverness is the nearest main station.  Beauly has an unmanned station for local connections from Inverness to the west coast and the north.  For more information visit the Scotrail website.
